Though LEGO has its fair share of video game adaptations, the Super Mario LEGO set is a physical game that must be built before play can resume. The LEGO set is bridging the boundary between the virtual playground the real world. Players can also share extra rewards for defeating enemies and completing challenges while working together. When playing co-op, players earn bonus digital coins for in-sync actions like flips and jumps. Connecting LEGO Luigi and LEGO Mario together will give players access to a new, interactive experience, as they explore the LEGO courses they build. The two-player adventure will reward players with extra coins and LEGO Luigi will arrive at the same time as the Bowser’s Airship Expansion Set. In a trailer posted to Twitter, Nintendo of America announced that LEGO Luigi would be joining the party, and players would be able to connect the LEGO brothers together for co-op fun.
